- あらかん【阿羅漢】〔仏〕〔梵 arhat 応供(オウグ)・殺賊(セツゾク)などと意訳〕悟りを得て人々の尊敬と供養を受ける資格を備えた人。 小乗仏教では修行者の到達しうる最高の位とする。 大乗では， 小乗の修行者として否定的に用いる場合と， 最高の修行者として肯定的に用いる場合がある。 如来(ニヨライ)の十号の一としても数える。 羅漢。
